      This item is 18th Century Kneehole desk with a superstructure.

      The superstructure, a unique feature of this desk, contains a central cupboard flanked by 3 drawers on either side.

      A carved gold-painted gallery decorates the top of the superstructure.

      The leather-lined top of the desk has an ormolu border.

      The desk, hand painted in gold to represent "boulle work" and has cabriole legs.
